That would be a great twist and I kinda agree a bit. Indra is supposed to be a god, that's what Madara became right now and Ashura always challenges the gods. If Kishi follows this, Naruto and Madara should be the reincarnation of the sage's sons. But that would mean Sasuke doesn't have any importance right now.

Madara was dead, so I think that the eldest son's chakra was reincarnated into Sasuke, but now that Madara is revived, he still has the will of the eldest son, but isn't his reincarnation anymore. Because if I read correctly, it's the chakra that gets reincarnated, not the soul...

Didn't the sage just say that Naruto possesses Ashura's chakra? What if the sage teach Naruto to unlock Ashura's chakra. Naruto sucked at chakra control and since the war began mostly used Kurama's power, but now that he mastered chakra control, what if he learns to use Ashura's chakra instead?... But I doubt that. The sage wants cooperation, so I think he will use the bijuu's chakra.

And don't forget, Naruto is getting a power up to fight Madaranot Sasuke. I get the feeling that he will only use the bijuu chakra temporarily and fight Sasuke with his own strength. By the way, Sasuke is getting cells pumped into him right now. He needs all the help he can get too...

Madara was the reincarnation of the older son, but he died so it moved on to Sasuke, but than Madara was revived and now they both are.

Madara could have only inherited his will. Would you say Hashirama was the reincarnation of the younger just because he had the same views as well? The main story focus is on Naruto and Sasuke. You lack the basic understanding of a main characters role and one can say you're jumping to conclusions. The manga has confirmed there were multiple reincarnations as well.

it is definitly Sasuke since Maadara already died before Sasuke was born so probably he is the the incarnation of the older brother. Maadara and Hashirama can be argued to be the previous incarnation of the brothers but they both died so the next incarnation is sasuke and naruto. Madara was still alive when Sasuke was born, 'cause that's when Obito released Kyuubi, and Madara was alive back then so Sasuke can't be the reincarnation, it's Madara, because that would be a huge plot twist and Kishi probably wants us to think it's Sasuke because it was always going by parallels so he wants to troll us, and since naruto is a successor that means he is new so6p which is so not fair to sasuke, but whatever
