Naruto's True Prophecy !!

The great old sage frog told the prophecy of naruto fighting a man with power in his eyes. But is it necessarily sasuke? Though naruto said that he will fight sasuke, what if, by some twisted fate kabuto gets sasuke's sharingan and naruto has to fight him? The way things are going, what itachi tells sasuke is gonna change things dramatically, it might even change sasuke too (who knows?). Anyway a twist about the prophecy will definitely shock the naruto fans, it might be even more interesting.

What do you guys think?

Think think more on the lines of Madara getting revived and fighting Naruto since he really needs to get schooled about humility! Sasuke vs Naruto will most likely have to take place. The out come is unknown however!(It might come to a three way - Naruto, Madara(or Tobi) and Sasuke)

I think the frog was talking about Tobi, and not Sauske.

Sasuke has shown a number of indications that he doesn't intend to fight Naruto. The destruction of the White Zetsu clones is just his first betrayal.

If Sasuke fights Kabuto, that will be his second betrayal of Akatsuki, since Kabuto actually seems to be helping Tobi further his goal.
IMO, Sasuke vs Kabuto has to happen. Kabuto has already brought Itachi into this, giving Sasuke a chance to resolve some of his internal problems, but it's likely going to make him angry. Kabuto also has the remnants of Orochimaru running around in his body, and that could potentially allow him to access a bunch of jutsu that he's not had access to since his fight with Itachi.

This ignores the potential upgrade in power he'd get from Itachi giving him the Totsukai Sword and the Yata Mirror, which, if he gets these two items, I think the one to beat Tobi will be Sasuke, since he'll be able to not just kill, but seal him.

Anyway... just my 2 cents.

This would be interesting. I agree that the assumption could be wrong and it could be a different person other than Sasuke. It may be related to all of those Sharingan that Tobi harvested.

He fought against the 6 Pains. He briefly fought Nagato and Itachi. Those are people with power in their eyes.

The prophecy referred to a "young man", which rules them out.

Besides I remember reading somewhere that Kishi said that Sasuke will be the last villain Naruto will fight.
