I was just thinking about this. Do any of you think that Naruto has such a big obsession with wanting to return Sasuke back to good and returning him to the village, because that is the only thing Naruto has never accomplished?
Lets look at part 1.
1. Finally graduated from the academy, becoming a ninja
2. Made new friends
3. Got stronger
4. Got taken seriously by his peers
5. Learned superior jutsus
6. Learned to control some the Nine tails fox's chakra
7. Has a rival (Sasuke)
8. Sakura talking and noticing to him
9. Acknowledged by his rival (Sasuke)
10. Have a father figure (Jiraiya
11. Convert Gaara to good
Now Part 2...
1. Become stronger protect his friends and the village
2. Control his chakra
3. Find and control his nature chakra
4. Control all of the Nine Tails power
5. Learn very strong jutsu
6. Become more intellectual in battle
7. Protected the village from complete destruction
8. Converted Nagato and Konan back to good
9. Finally Acknowledged by everyone in the leaf Village
10. Acknowledged by everyone in the shinobi world
11. Turn Kurama good
12. Turn all the other 8 tailed beast good
13. Have the tailed beast put their faith in him
14. Convert even the most tainted, traumatized, broken villain in the series good (Obito)
15. Became what was foretold; The Child of Prophecy
So in conclusion the reason Naruto is so damn bent on bringing Sasuke back to good and bringing him back to the village, is because he decided to leave everything and everyone behind. He chose his own destiny. Sasuke is the only thing Naruto can't control or even change. And as we seen when he was close to Sasuke 3 times in Shippuden, he keeps on failing. I think in only my personal opinion is Naruto has a god complex. He needs to finally learn not everything he says and he wants to do, will or can be done.
Your thoughts. And thanks for reading.
