He said he "lost". What gives you reason to think that he was referring to the physical fight? Sasuke and Naruto were in the same physical condition, both couldn't move and one arm was gone. He was referring to the ideology. And even Sasuke admitting that he "lost" in ideology was forced TNJ.

Naruto didn't win and Sasuke's "failure" was forced TNJ.

In terms of ideology, Naruto got Sasuke to give up on his goal of killing the Gokages, he convinced Sasuke to join his side to achieve peace through his way, so in that regards, Naruto won. In terms of a FIGHT, it was a tie. Naruto's persistence in which was very apparent throughout the fight in which Naruto kept getting back up over and over again, caused Sasuke to realize that Naruto would never stop resisting him, so he just gave up and joined Naruto's way towards peace.

Sasuke was knocked out for literally god knows how long right after the clash. Naruto wasn't completely immobile. He couldn't move very much for fear of bleeding to death, but since you want to split hairs in that time Sasuke was out cold, I'm sure turning over to stab him with a kunai, or hell even to hold his nose so he couldn't breathe, wouldn't have been too much movement for Naruto.

But in all seriousness, Sasuke lost the fight. There was always going to be a winner/loser because this fight had a deeper meaning than what was on the battlefield. If there wasn't a winner in this fight, then it would've made the entire thing, along with a great portion of the main story pointless.

Losing the fight doesn't mean he's necessarily weaker, but he lost. People just need to look beyond the fanboyism and see the significance of the loss for what it really is, just a plot device to bring it all full circle.

This here, ppl will never give Naruto credit for winning even when Sasuke himself does

At the end of the day, no matter how you look at it, the fight ended in a draw (not really as sasuke could freely amaterasu naruto from where he was laying half dead on the ground and its game over) but that's really not the point here.

Some fanboys keep saying that Naruto beat Sasuke simply because Sasuke stated that he "lost" which isn't the case here as Sasuke was referring to his GOALS (Sasuke's revolution) NOT the FIGHT itself.

Besides, the legitimate way of beating someone in a fight is if he's either incapacitated or dead while you (the winner) is still standing and healthy (just like how Sasuke defeated Naruto in part 1); not both you and your opponent are suffering from the same injuries.

Anyway, Sasuke the angel spared Naruto's life by not ending him with Amaterasu. Let's leave it at that.

This. I dont get why these Sasuke Fan boys are making excuses. He got owned. Naruto was drained from the war, he only had Kurama while sasuke syphoned all 9 bijuus chakra. Sasuke fought to kill while Naruto held back and only attacked to neutralize Sasukes attacks. Even Sasuke knew that Naruto is superior.

Difference is, in the first fight, Naruto was unconscious, Sasuke was still standing. In this fight, both were completely incapacitated and couldn't move without bleeding out of their asses.

All I can say is enjoy your "victory" (as unsatisfying as it may and if you can call that a victory) atleast Sasuke beat Naruto legitimately (by incapacitating him).

FYI: I'm not really mad or insulted by the outcome of this fight as I didn't really see Naruto gaining the upperhand throughout the fight (Sasuke was dominating the entire battle) and the end result wasn't even in Naruto's favor.
