Random thought but if something bad happened to Naruto or just when the time comes and they need to select another Jinchūriki, who would it be and how would they do it because am I right in assuming that Naruto's the only person alive who knows the sealing jutsu?

Yeah this new generation in gaiden are fodder so only naruto knows because he witnessed jiraya,minato,kushina, the 1st and kyubbi do sealing. Also he did a little sealing himself and the fact he is a uzamaki means he is capable. Only other person is orchimaru who could do the sealing. Sasuke has shown no feats to seal so I don't know about him.

You should take a look at the Boruto movie trailer and then decide whether he is fodder or not. :lol

As Naruto's son, Boruto is next in line to inherit the Bijuus. Though, I think this will only happen if Naruto dies.

There is no need for sealing any more, the only reason 8 and 9 are still sealed is because if they are removed Naruto and Bee would die and we don't want that now, do we? especially with Bee
