Naruto's Stupidity

I'm not sure if its just me or does it seem to everyone that in the recent chapters, Naruto appears more stupid than before...as far as intelligence in battle goes I've always rated 2nd best to shikamaru...but as far as stupidity in thinking and dialogues go, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most stupid a guy can be, I've always rated Naruto a 7/10....but of late he seems to be a 10/10 on that scale, if not worse...kind of reminds you of the naruto at the beginning of the series.

I agree. Ever since he received half of hogoromo's power he was behaving stupider and stupider. In terms of intelligence

Naruto isnot stupid.... The evidence is obvious, he has made multiple mid battle strategies that only a very Savvy person could make.

However, as an orphan with no parents and very little social interaction he is stunted in some regards.

I believe that he acts dumber around Sasuke because that's how he behaved around him in part 1.
Naruto is subconsciously acting how he did in part 1 because it is comfortable, he isnot adept at social interactions so he does what he knows/thinks works.

Now- that's just me analyzing him as a literary character in reality:

Kishi is just using the stereotypical model of a shonen protagonist that was made famous in DBZ.
Kishi knows that goku esq character template works, so he makes his own protagonist similar to other famous protagonists.

Basically, goku was popular and stupid, kishi thinks/ his advisers think that naruto will be popular because he is also stupid

no matter what he does he never will be dumber than sasky who got stabbed by his own sword and railed by everyone and there grandmomma.

All three of the team 7 members seem to have been reduce to their former child-like mannerisms. I think Kishi is trying to re-establish each character's role on the team. Susake is a tool, Naruto is a rock and Sakura will be cheer leading soon. Think the point that is being made is that even though they have been apart their relationship hasn't changed. You will notice the same child-like interaction between Madra and Hashirama in earlier chapters.

Naruto isn't the smartest person, but he does have tactics on the battle field that place him above others.

However, his explanation like re-creating Kakashi's eyes, lacks much needed details...:[

He has been talking and acting like more of a dumbass than usual since his return from the dead. I can only imagine the effects of naruto's already simple brain being starved of oxygen must have made him several times dumber.

I think its because he is very powerful now so he doesn't really need to pay attention that much, giving him time to feel a little relax and able to show more of his fun side personality that we see of him in the village.

Thou I think he was trying to make kakashi and sakura feel better from what sasuke said to them.

that's just my opinion

naruto have a silly personality, that's who he is, he is not serious all the time like sasuke.
