The Buu Saga was far more entertaining than anything from Naruto.

Nah DBZ was good. Buu Saga was badass. And I feel Naruto has too many flashbacks. Though there are other mangas/anime that outclass both in plot like Death Note.

some of it............ -________- BUU was okay though... the character BUU... Vegeta was the best character in that saga.

but after Frieza was defeated... DB wasn't so "perfect" anymore... but BUU saga did have classic epic moments.

actually DBZ was filled with classic / epic moments all over each saga.. a lot more than Naruto has I think.. well.. idk..

but DBZ has a ton of epic/ classic moments... probably more than any anime. GOHAN was horrible in BUU saga though.

Also if anyone has not seen the original Dragon Ball I suggest watching that for good plot imo.
Naruto's plot has too many unnecessary flashbacks and people with emotional problems imo.
Still a great story though

I mean if you consider overly emotional characters better than yes. Most if not all of Naruto's character suffer from a variety of mental illnesses (except Hiruzen). What this verse needs is a psychiatrist. Also most of the so-called plot in this series is just flashback nonsense (Obito and the rock I'm looking at you). Finally, the biggest problem with Naruto's plot is that every villain is basically a loser. There just people butthurt because they failed at everything in life. You think Madara would be after all this nonsense had he become the Hokage in the first place? Danzo?

I mean what more terrible writing could you get than Chiyo and Sasori. The woman never even once hugged her Grandson after witnessing he is going through severe trauma due to the death of his parents. Like I said, this verse needs a psychiatrist.

DEATH NOTE had a nice ending and it made sense , but the second half lacked excitement and interest when it came to the main character. Everything that happened in the end was alluded to before hand ,but that part of Death Note story wasn't developed and delivered in an exciting format that allowed you to really feel the characters. Near, Mello, Matt, Mikami, Takada didn't have a grasp on the audience the way the earlier characters did , but it wasn't too bad. It was kinda bad though. Lol

ot: DB actually had great plot and storytelling and the interests and suspense in it was usually high, it had the feel of dying to see Kakashi's face, you didn't want to miss your chance at seeing an episode. DB didn't have any mystery in it for the audience because everything was pretty much explained by the characters, but the storytelling was great and the characters other than the Zfighters who were thrown to the background , had pretty good development. Vegeta was developed greatly though I think.

Gohan was great! Mystic Gohan is the single strongest character in DBZ, bar fusions and GT.
