Naruto's Speed

People are saying that naruto's speed isn't so great since he got caught by the giant tree god, but just because he got caught doesn't mean he is slow. Naruto and minato both went into nine tails mode (host transformation) and went straight towards obito and then obito made the juubi transform right when they were charging him, thus they were caught.
How ever being in nine tails mode decreases their speed since they are so huge, luckily minato escaped but naruto drew the short end of the stick and got drained like a juice box lol so it isn't that his speed is over hyped and is below that of madara's, since madara is able to predict were the branches will be coming from he would easily dodge them but he didn't he just chopped them up in pieces no different than what he is used to when fighting hashirama.

People read the manga too quickly when they discussed what happened. The panel in which Naruto was under attack by Shinju was also the first panel Shinju started grasping for chakra. This means a sudden, unexpected attack where Naruto was caught off-guard, not to mention Naruto was caught in the midst of it.

lol I haven't even seen your thread since I haven't logged on since last year only read the manga first time participating in threads since then, and I don't even know what "that" classmate even is?..

I said this over and over, but some people don't just get it. This is what i think
( Again: naruto was in kurama form trying to combine senjutsu with TBB( he was focusing on that) , when god tree was released,so it was easy for god tree to catch him , when it absorbed naruto's chakra , naruto went back to cloak form and could no longer escape )
