He has perfected it, his eyes only changed as a way to let you kno he is in sage mode.

Yes sir, he's the only one other than the toads that can fully control how much nature chakra he absorbs. J-man would absorb too much, hence his toad like features in SM. However he hasn't quite perfected it, as he can only sustain it for 5 minutes. He has been able to counter this negative with clones, but it has been shown that he still has faults.

If Naruto perfects it, which i believe he will in the 3rd series, he will be able to absorb nature chakra while moving. As we have already seen he can absorb some, but can't quite control the amount.
