Hello guys,

lately there has been a lot of discussion over Naruto's Sage mode.

If you see here in the scan:

Naruto's pupils indicate he is, indeed, in Sage mode, however, he is missing his Sage markings.

Some people will claim this as simply a drawing mistake, and I get that, but I think it's a little more.

We know Obito ripped a minute quantity of the Hachibi's chakra and the Ichibi's chakra, and transferred them to Naruto, but keep reading, look what Madara also says Obito took:

Obito also took some of Hashirama's Sage chakra.

It is quite possible that Obito also transferred the Sage chakra to Naruto for several reasons.

It would help Naruto's life force to counteract the Bijuu extrction, along with the re-sealing of Kurama's other half, with the other 2 beasts chakra.

Obito knew that Hashirama's Sage chakra can deflect Madara's attack, so it could be a pre-caution.

Also, Obito knows he's not going to live much longer, so it's no use for him to have that power when he knows Naruto could make better of it.

EDIT: As user Kaaant pointed out, I neglected to point out why the markings didn't appear.

I think it's because he's neither fully in his own Sage mode or fully in Hashirama's Sage mode, so the markings don't appear.

To think that you miss the point that Naruto has the exact chakra that was with Hashirama!
