Earlier I also thought he only did minor shit only. But then I saw English subbed version of the above interview (can't find it ATM, but maybe you recognise this). He made them rewrite the story many times , until it was to his satisfaction. That makes the whole thing canon.

Anyhow , I would think about my stance on the issue after Gaiden and Boruto movie is over. Hopefully all the kinks would be cleared by then.

Go check it again kishi made minor changes in the story multiple times he did not rewrote it.
Also the move connects to plot as much as possible not completely
Also if I remember correctly Boruto movie is the first and only movie with kishi as writer said by kishi himself

2) TSBs :- Toneri does not have Six Path Senjutsu. yet has TSBs

He does actually, that's what the Tenseigan chakra mode is, another variant of Six Paths Senjutsu. Toneri stated that to get the Tenseigan you had to get Hamura's chakra, which equals a different variant of Six Paths chakra than Hagoromo's own.
