[Spoilers] Naruto's Response To The Last Two Pages Of 697!

Folks, I won't say I am disappointed like many are saying, but I won't also say I am satisfied. I understand that Naruto does not want to kill Sasuke, and I don't want Naruto to also kill Sasuke. However, this whole fight is a bitter sweet for me.

As a Naruto fan, I have learned to know his skill since the beginning of the manga, and I knew that Sasuke has nothing to stand a chance against him in a serious death match. The reason is that Naruto was born a chakra powerhouse, and he was immediately given another chakra powerhouse. Thus, ninjutsu favoring the person who has the most chakra, I found trivial that Naruto is the strongest of the Narutoverse.

As you can see, Sasuke has been having add-up to matchup what I said earlier, during the fight, and I expected that since his stupid fanboys needed to learn that he is weak on his own. However, in the last two pages, Sasuke said something, and I expect Naruto's response.

Now, knowing Naruto, I believe he want to confirm that Sasuke really want to kill him. Note that even some of you were predicting that Sasuke was testing Naruto, which means you don't believe Sasuke is really messed up. Thus, Naruto can test him. Also, these panel look more like Madara vs Hashirama. Thus, there are two possible response that Naruto will give:

(1) The Naruto will see can simply be a clone just as in Madara vs Hashirama, and then the real one will KO Sasuke with a mere taijutsu.

(2) Naruto will show his first Senju feats to show Sasuke that he is not the only person who has special abilities. Note that this is why I have a bitter sweet. Even though I know Naruto will win, I expected him to show a jutsu from Ashura or Hashirama.

(3) Naruto has Sasuke in a genjutsu (shocking ending) or uses Mokuton (shocking ending) or uses FTG (shocking ending) or Sasuke was fighting clones all this times (shocking ending).

clones doesn't stand that much beating. its surprising that it lasted longer than we thought. i mean, in the beginning with just one kick it would just poof but now in this fight, even after sasuke's shuriken attack the clones are still in impact. so sasuke attacking a clone is out of option. and to add it, sasuke can easily distinguish between a clone and a real body. he even activated his sharingan before the final blow.

now to the point, there might be more clones hiding in the shadows or rocks just like in the pain fight.

Look at the second pic, Sasuke's sharingan wears off, so he won't be able to tell whether Naruto has some chakra or not.

Believe it or not, but no one can distinguish a clone from a real. It is just some bragging that they keep saying. Besides, if you watch Naruto vs Neiji, a clone can last as long as the user focus his attention on it. Well, I am not saying it is a clone because I don't want it to be. However, I won't be surprised.

As far as my expectation are, there is a reason that I want Naruto to pull out Mokuton. First, to show Sasuke that the Uchiha are not the only special people out there as he is thinking on the second to last page. Second, to stop IT, there will be two phase: (1) Stop the Mokuton Jutsus that spread the Shinju root, and (2) then stop the Genjutsu.

Elemental clones could be detected, shadow clones could not be detected even with dojutsus (Even Kaguya with the Rinnesharingan and Byakugan couldn't).

clones cannot be distinguished, this as been proven time and time again. if i'm not mistaken, naruto definitely had 1 clone left. even sasuke lands that blow, the naruto in the water is most likely a clone.
