Well I've been reading Naruto for quite a wile now and I have learnt loads of things from it both good and bad such as:

You can never fill the hole in your heart on your own.
Never give up.
Never go back on your word.
Pain is what brings people together.
If you can't save one person then you can't save anyone.
You have to do whatever you can to protect the ones you love.
Love only breeds sacrifice.
The cycle of hatred.
The world is only perception and there is no right or wrong.
(Add any lessons that you've learnt fro Naruto in the comments, there's so many that I'd like to know as many as possible)

But looking onto the real world as it is today, there are probably a lot of "Obito's" as I call it, in the world we live in everyone usually starts oss as a "Naruto" and develops into another character, many people in the world are just stuck in despair because as it is friendship that is true is an extremely rare thing to find. Can people truly fill the hole's in others hearts?

Many people simply just give up on their dreams and in thejmselves and as well in other people.

WHile these lessons are very important, the main thing that you have to remember is to never give up on anything, once you've started going down whatever path you chose never go back because you must walk that path to the end or live with regrets.

But what do you guys think, what do those lessons mean to you and how has Naruto affected you since you've been watching it, I used to be a "Sasuke" until my eventual transition into an "Obito" and now after all the things I've been through and experienced I'm now a "Naruto/Obito". WHo would you also best describe yourself as?

Thanks for reading~

Every narrative has lessons be learned from character and story. The power of narrative is to explore the human condition. But I can't say that I view the world in terms of "Narutos" and "Sasukes." Kishi's characters are entertaining, but don't connect for me in these terms.

I see what you mean, but I don't mean that's how I see people as "Naruto's" and "Sasuke's" I just mean comparing to this series who people would be most similar too, there's people everyone feels relatable to in every Anime. I know every ANime has it's lessons but I'd like to know which one's stand out the most to people~

Fellowship and one's ability to recognise the limitations of an individual's ability to shoulder the burden of all problems.

Yeah that's a pretty important one but why does that relate to you more than the others?

i agree its a shame most kids nowadays simply read naruto because all they care are "cool fights" and such things..while naruto the story on its own has a lot of life lessons to learn. most people are simply to narrow minded to read "whats underneath the underneath"...

I started watching Naruto when it first came out in America. In the midst of the Chunin Exam arc, I had to stop watching because my parents flipped their shit (religious reasons or whatever). I started watching again from the bottom to the top last year, and I can definitely say I appreciate the lessons in Naruto. I'm very inspired by Naruto's stubbornness to not give up and go back on his word. I think the most important lesson, which I hold very dear to me now, is to deepen your bonds with people.

The only things that turns me off about Naruto's lessons are Naruto (the character) savior attitude and how every character is overly-dependent on him. It sort of contradicts the lessons a bit imo but.....I'll take what I can out of it.

And character wise...I'd describe myself as more of Gaara/Itachi. Gaara's my favorite by far, but I like Itachi also and can relate to both extremely well. Naruto annoys me extremely in the manga and anime, but I give him props for his values. That's as far as my Naruto appreciation will go though.

it is the best and most usefull thread after a long time

Btw it is a fact that Naruto's storyline has a Huge impact on my life U_U

Basically , I liked that UZUMAKI NARUTO's Struggled in his whole life because of kyuubi and Obito , as obito killed his parents , and After all these Struggles and sacrifices naruto still Forgave kyuubi and Obito as naruto wants to remove this chain of hatred

I learnt ALOT of things from UZUMAKI NARUTO's life which are as follows as :-
-You should not have to give up no matter what happens to you
-You should do Hard work in your life in order to achieve your GOAL ( HOKAGE)
-You should Forgive others as this can help in removing chain of hatred

IMO , Naruto is a most Realistic MC U_U

Anyways , i also learnt alot of things from Obito, Minato, Nagato , Madara , Sasuke's lives U_U

To be honest Naruto manga never really influenced me in such a way, even though I enjoy it. I did get plenty of inspiration from it for stories that I come up with (but keep to myself, I daydream a lot but heck if I ever start actually writing), it inspired me to try out new art styles as well (but again, heck if I ever show my "art" to anyone). I was able to relate to some characters at certain points of the story (especially Kabuto on the whole trying to find oneself thing), and I do wish to be more like some of them (yes I actually wish to be able to hide my emotions and control them well, just like my beloved Root guys), but in terms of impact on my whole life or soul or whatever I have other stories and other characters that affect me a lot more. That is all :bye:
