Naruto promised to Itachi that he will take care of Sasuke, but how if Sasuke actually hates him and they even became rivals in settle the Hokage title?
What exactly means ''taking care of Sasuke''?

I think it's more like not letting him get killed, alow him to be some kind of a "hero" so that nobody tries to kill him... At the same time he is supposed to place sasuke in a good spot where is is "well behaved"
