[Discussion] Naruto's Predicament

It seems that Naruto wants to save sasuke even after all that happened. I think Naruto has already given up on sasuke and is more worried that he might end up killing sakura and co.
Just tell me what you guys think.

I dont agree with that I think Naruto gonna go to sakura and say to her well let's join the battle force and I talk with Sasuke if it makes me fight him.

I think Sai will die. I have no evidence, and no relavent theory to back it up, but I can just sense it in my gut. He's Sasuke's replacement, and if Sasuke killed him, I think it would be enough to convince Naruto that Sasuke has gone too far.

I would like Sakura to die, but there's way too many fangirls to take that risk.

The image of team 7's picture shattering means to me that Naruto has realized that he may have to kill Sasuke. OF course, he might not have completely given up, but at this point there is almost no hope for the Uchiha

Eh not necesarily, he still needs to bring sasuke back or he will conform to what madara wants to happen

Definitely an interesting topic, given the last couple chapters.

My thoughts: Naruto tried to reform Pain, even after the Konoha invasion. PAIN! Who he had no former connection to, and who demolished the entirety of his village. If Naruto can resist the temptation to bury a Rasengan in Nagato's forehead, then Sasuke would have to die from the Kyubi, rather than Naruto's free will.

With his father having stressed the importance of not giving into the Kyubi, the gift from Itachi (who was really trying to protect Sasuke), and the unknown frog scroll, Naruto seems to have a lot of hidden reserves that will prevent him from losing it on Sasuke.

My personal opinion: Sasuke was a stuck up brat as a kid, and a villain for his entire adolescence. If there was ever anything worth redeeming, it is long gone.

I want to see Kakashi get appointed to hokage, and decide that Sasuke needs to be killed. That would put a serious conflict of interest in Naruto's mind. Then, Naruto would have a realization that the office of hokage and the need to control others is the root of all evil, and he and Sasuke would form a new village, just like the 1st and Madara did.
