naruto's plans(everyones thoughts)

Here is what i want to know, naruto basically said to sasuke that when they fight they will both die but then way before he promises to fight konohamaru. So i'm confused will he fight konohamaru for the title of hokage. So what would happen first would he beat konohamaru then tell him to go train or would him and sasuke die leaving the title of hokage to konohamaru. Which then brings me to my next point, why do people say sasuke or naruto will win their epic final fight but naruto clearly said they would both die?

I doubt he will die fighting sasuke, otherwise he will never get the title of Hokage like he always wanted

And, I'm pretty sure Naruto hasn't planned that much ahead. Whenever it comes to Sasuke Naruto kind of forgets about everything else around him, especially other promises he made.

And another thing... If Naruto becomes Hokage, he'll probably have to be a little bit older, and Konohamaru especially has to get older before he becomes Hokage.
