Sticking up for Hinata when no one was around and had no reason to makes him an attention *****? You clearly have some problem with Naruto, he was always nice to Hinata, he didn't try to ruin anyone's family. HE PLAYED A COUPLE OF PRANKS!!!!!!!! How is painting on the Hokage faces ruining anyone's happiness. What he saw with those people was love he could never have gotten, and it must have hurt knowing that that was the case. Everyone saw him as demon long before he had done anything wrong.

Sasuke was seen as a genius and was wildly popular even when he was a child, if he wanted to, he easily could have made friends, he cut himself off on purpose, in order to get revenge. IMO, you have to be pretty cold if you're writing off Naruto as an attention ***** when all he wanted was some acknowledgement.

Here's the way I see it: Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara all had crappy childhoods. Though, when I hear Sasuke ranting to Naruto about his life being harder, I can't help but want Naruto to smack him upside the head. (This happened during their Valley Of The End fight and at the 5 Kage Summit.) Why, because Sasuke had seven years of clear skies and no worries, meanwhile, Naruto's an orphan and everybody in their village (sans a few people) give him the middle finger for no good reason. Sasuke claims to think his life is harder even though he had been given so many things that Naruto didn't even know the basic concept of growing up, i.e. parents, friends, acknowledgment, understanding, and love.

In Gaara's case: his life is similar to Naruto's and granted, most of the things that happened to Gaara weren't in his control anyway. He did have a reason to go all serial killer (dead uncle, damaged psyche, yadda yadda) and there wasn't really an open door for him to go down Naruto's path. Naruto DID have Hiruzen and Iruka (later on) to cling to after all.

Intro:

I swear to god, people overlook Naruto's pain really bad. When the comparison between Sasuke and Gaara and Naruto is made.. for some reason, people put Gaara and Sasuke above due to these reasons:

-Gaara's dad tried to kill him 5 times

- Sasuke's whole clan was killed by his own brother.


And the excuse for Naruto's pain not being that high is this:

- he was simply not loved..... whats not there can't hurt you.

Realization and situation:


But here is the thing that people do not realize... The "unknown" hurts the most. Naruto being hated on wasn't the sad part to Naruto.... it was the "WHY"? What was the reason?? Why am i called a demon?? What did i do?? Who are my parents?? Was I just born for no reason?? Aka the "unknown".

Then on top of that, even after finding out.... Naruto had to live with the demon who killed BOTH of his parents.

Gaara and Sasuke:

Gaara and Sasuke had experienced love. Naruto SAW love... but no experience..

Gaara was the Kazekage's son... he had brother and sister who were loyal to him. (I dare anyone to deny this).

Sasuke's clan was killed .. yes it was sad we know, but atleast he knew who did it. In this aspect Sasuke's suffering is the least... he chose to cut people off.


Gaara knew he had a demon inside of him. Sasuke knew who had killed his parents and etc. But the thing is they chose to go down the path they went. They weren't forced to. When Naruto found out why he was hated on and so on.. he chose to go the right way. People will say Gaara had noone.. hmm manga suggests Gaara had Kankuro and Temari.. . He chose to cut them off , like Sasuke did.

Conclusion​

In situation wise , Naruto had it the worst. In the aspect of the kids, Gaara.. because he had a weak will.
