Naruto's Old Challenge to Konohamaru For the Title of Hokage

Anyone else wondering if Konohamaru will finally challenge Naruto for the title of Hokage before the end of the (Boruto) series, as made in episode 2 of the original series? Or was it all just a kid thing that was never gonna be taken seriously once they grew up?
