a. he has hinata rupture the tenketsu guiding the flowing chakra.
b. he has sakura leach katsyua to him, so sakura can focus and contain the bijuu chakra apart from sage power.
c. he has sasuke use chidori cembalm to activate the flow of chakra sending the senjutsu and bijuu power colliding
d. sakura mixes the and controls the chakra allowing Naruto retain his new state.
3. naruto has the new power-up.

That shadow behind Minato at the end of this recent chapter, I believe that was the yin half of Kurama.
I also think Minato realized that Naruto could handle the chakra, and its about time to give it to him.
