That's quite an assumption, by the way base Naruto is slower than Sakura so no he's still no fast.

But it is not fact because from what I remember Naruto saved Sakura from getting stabbed in the back in a knick of time using his base speed alone. Now that he is like 1000x faster Sakura has no chance. The only thing I think that she could do is create a cool crater in the ground which I believe that as of now even without the chakra training that Sakura had that he would be able to bust through a mountain easily.

Even if he were kamuid's to the site he still would have needed amazing speed to react and deflect gudou dama. He may have used his own s/t jutsu. Hopefully Madara gets serious now.

That is the more interesting point to me. He returned (to some point), assessed the situation, and reacted in time.

Of course, there are no chronological markers in the panels to allow you to sync both sides of the kamui. So technically he could have returned before that point and it was simply not showed.

I keep waiting for him to learn Minato's teleportation jutsu, though. I thought that was going to be Minato's gift a long time ago, but it has been so long that it is just another lose thread in the story.
