She may have absorbed some of the impact but it could be the scaling that it might seem that way.

Yes he does. Kurama being a sensor type has nothing to with his elemental affinity.

About Kurama, I just think he's special ability is insane amount of chakra. After all, his Tailed Beast Bomb overwhelmed the others.
