Naruto wasn't trying to kill Sasuke.this is a fact.if you remember back to vote 1 Naruto was holding back but then lost his patience and said "if you won't come back I'll break all your bones and home!"

I think Naruto realized that wasn't the correct approach.naruto wanted to defeat Sasuke so he could think about his actions and possibly change his mind,which is exactly what happened.

Sasuke realized Naruto would never give up trying to save him.after the clash,sasuke says "I lost" in context to his goal.i believe Narutos belief in him made him have a change of heart.

The context of Naruto not releasing the TBB proves he is sparing Sasuke. Why wouldn't he fire it if it would do no damage, or if it would incapacitate him so he could bring him home.

Everyone knows this but if pushed Naruto could wear his doujutsu down sooner especially that ameno tech since it is limited. In a heated battle you cant just waiste techs.
