Naruto's Maturity = Hokage?

There has been a lot of talk about Naruto not being smart enough to be Hokage or him not being mature and my personal opinion is your right in a way However you underestimate his intelligence Naruto may be a goofball but in time of battle he can be very tactical and serious lets take the Naruto vs Pain arc for example...at the beginning when he rushed in and the first pain fought with him and he realized the reason they couldnt hit him was because the pains vision was connected he used a jutsu in which when he punched the nature energy would hit the pain and it worked another example is when he used rasenshuriken on the group of pain and when they tried to get away he expanded it killing a pain in the process.Another example is when naruto was first trying to make rasenshuriken and found out a way to speed up the process by using shadow clones, a very intellectual move now we can talk about what makes him a good canidate for Hokage he's strong,he somewhat intelligent, he has compassion for others, and he is level headed.

Naruto is not ready to be hokage. I can't believe you're using his fighting abilities as pillar to justify him as hokage. Naruto can be tatical but he can sometimes be completey idiotic. Like when he was fighting Nagato. Look at how other hokages act and then look at how Naruto acts. Better yet compare Gaaras maturity to Narutos

Yeah I agree, but imo, Naruto hates doing work, like paper work. And all he wanted in the beginning was for his village to recognise him. And I feel after this war he will be even more respected

He may not be quick but when it comes to mature decisions he makes the right choice. His battle intelligence is decent and he has inherited the will of fire. He would be a very good hokage in my opinion, and the best hokage in 10 years.

Gaara is narutos age and is a kage but naruto isnt as level headed as him so i think naruto has a couple years before he can be the hokage. He definetly has the stength and the will to do it though.

I think Naruto would be a great hokage as long as he has four people with him as guides Shikamaru, Shikaku and Kakashi giving him advice and Sakura beating the living day lights out of him if he slacks off

i think what naruto lacks is the ability to lead. he is a fighter who fights in a really reckless way and there's no way that he can lead in that way. he has zero experience as a squad leader, how is he supposed to lead an entire village?
apart from that he has no idea of politics. the council would eat him alive.

He fought against Edo Nagato and that fight showed he isn't ready to be hokage. Naruto was trying to do everything himself and Itachi had to bring him down to earth. That fight showed Naruto is far away in terms of growing up to be hokage.

As much as i hate to say it.......Naruto makes rash decisions and often dangerous/reckless ones he is my fav char but he isnt ready yet....he may be ready after his fight with sasuke
