naruto's loss and gain
It has been exactly one year and three months since Naruto and the shinobi alliance won the war. The ten tails was split apart into the nine tailed beast and were all roaming free. Sasuke was brought back to Konohagakure and his team mates, other then karin, became jounin. As for Naruto, well he wasn't as happy as he thought he would be after the war ended. Once Naruto returned with Sasuke, it went back like it was before. No one paid attention to Naruto anymore. every girl fantasized *about Sasuke, and eventually Sasuke got married to sakura. However, Naruto didn't care because he had fallen in love with Hinata. Naruto is now on his way to confess to Hinata and thus the story begins.....
Naruto is on his way to meet Hinata in the park. As he is walking, he sees Hinata and Kiba talking. As he was about to approach the two and say hello. He heard one of them say his name and laugh so he decides to hide and hear what they are talking about.
Hinata: Kiba why are you here? Naruto will come any second now!
Kiba: Who cares about that idiot? By the way, you haven't told him yet have you?
Hinata: Well, thats why im here. He told me to meet him. I wonder were he is?
kiba: Well, you need to tell him, tell him you're no longer in love with him and you are marrying me tomorrow.
Naruto:*thinking* I see… Every one little by little is forgetting about me and developing new bonds with others. Sasuke isn’t my best friend any more, Konohamoru and his friends are Sasukes’ students now and Hinata is in love Kiba now. Might as well go talk to Hinata and get it over with.
Naruto comes out of hiding and approaches Hinata and Kiba. Simultaneously, they both turn around and notice Naruto.
Hinata: Naruto-kun?! How long have you been their
Kiba: ?!?
Naruto: Don’t worry Kiba, I heard everything. She doesn’t have to tell me. I’ll be leaving you two; See ya around.
Naruto starts to leave until……
Kiba: Naruto Wait! What did u want to tell Hinata?
At that moment, Naruto feels a little angry, thinking that everyone said how much Hinata loved him. He is also thinking about what Obito told him before he died.
*flash back*
Obito: Naruto I consider you lucky. You have been through far worse than me, and still haven’t become corrupt.
Naruto: That’s right! And I never will!
Obito: Don’t say that just yet. I know for a fact you will break one day. You’re friends, each and every one of them, are gonna do something to hurt you. Just like Sasuke. That’s because this world is corrupt.
*end of flash back*
Naruto had left Kiba and Hinata without saying a word other than, "Nothing much Kiba, just forget about it." He’s walking to his house and falls asleep. After a couple of hours pass he wakes up, realizing what time it was. He got up and went to the training grounds. When he arrived he saw all of his friends and the new Hokage. He approached them and he saw that they all had a sad face and were afraid. Naruto was wondering what was wrong.
Hokage: Naruto we have decided to take the 9tails away from you
Naruto: What?!? Why?!?
Hokage: Because, Naruto Uzumaki, You have too much power! Look around you, even you’re friends fear you. We will be taking away the 9 tails.
Hinata: just go with it Naruto, after this you’ll be our friend again, and you won’t die in the process. Isn’t that great!
As Naruto heard those words he was furious, all the while being sad. Naruto’s eyes slowly lost their color. He felt betrayed. His eyes became dark as if he had given in to the darkness.
Naruto: I should have listened to Obito, he was right…
He said softly
Naruto: Each and every one of you betrayed me!!!!!!!!!!
Everyon: !?!
Hokage: Naruto, just hand over the 9 tails.
Sasuke: listen to reason Naruto.
Naruto: Shut up!!! I will not give you Kurama without a fight.
