I watched the movie and Bolt taking down the Otutsuki villain was just as forced as Trunks taking down black goku in Super. It was his movie and they had to shove him in somehow.
And lol the 2 demigods of the series who fought Kaguya needing help to defeat a fodder like Momo. Sasuke and Naruto together fighting as they did in Vote 2 are unstoppable if they fight together. They were nerfed to give Bolt a moment to shine
Vanishing rasengan is just a gimmick and that powerup Bolt got is just as random as Naruto meeting the Rikudo Sage

No... Kaguya arc was pitted in the worst condition than what happen in the movie. First of all, the whole fight with Kaguya was consisted of Plot contrived, Plotholes and fanservice for Team 7. I remember something along the line that Kishi made brief statement in the interview that one of the member of Team 7 will die. We all know what happens afterward, Kishi doesn't have the balls to kill off the main cast so instead he had to resort to killing off a former antagonist as a cheap cop out way to progress the plot.
It was already established that Sasuke rinnegan drained alot of chakra when transporting to different dimension therefore Sasuke chakra already lost some big portion before saving Naruto ass. You can say Sasuke was nerf all you want but clearly this wasn't forced at all...

Which means by the time Sasuke and his co saved Naruto, he didn't even have time to rest instead Naruto went right after Momoshiki.
Both Naruto and Sasuke were handicapped but it was presented correctly in the context of the story. They weren't handicapped just purely on Plot conveniences
Naruto and Sasuke didn't even stand a chance with Kaguya the same way with Momoshiki, Naruto already lost some of kyuubi chakra.
Furtheremore Naruto was pinned down thanks to the chakra rod and sasuke rinnegan drained so much that he still had few cards to play which is the teamwork involvement for Boruto to finish him off. Meanwhile Momoshiki was standing there like an idiot while producing dark rasengan and as soon he reached his peak, Boruto and Sasuke was already one step ahead beforehand since Bolt was the first one to produce big rasengan before Momo does.
One of the biggest caliber Sasuke has is Ameno which failed esdily against Kaguya yet Naruto foot speed somehow superior to Sasuke and managed to wipe Kaguya arms off.
So if Sasuke can't hit Kaguya then he shouldn't hit Momoshiki as well. Kakashi was given a free ASSPULL PS Powerup makes completely illogical sense but you know it all goes down to plot convenience.

Or when Kaguya pull gravity dimension and somehow both Kakashi and Obito can move so freely whereas Kaguya, Naruto and Sasuke with SO6P Chakra could not.

Somehow Sakura was able to punch Kaguya from behind despite the Byakugan Blindspot should only be thin as an arrow. Sakura should not able to fit within that range yet her slow ass punch mange to direct hit when Sasuke Ameno could not.

Kaguya arc failed in every aspect, whereas Boruto atleast managed to built up to where Sasuke had to bring him along because he trusted Boruto as a prodigy.
If anything that was LIKELY to be "forced" in Boruto was the fact that Bolt managed to control enlarged rasengan and overpowered Momoshiki but atleast it wasn't nowhere a stretch compare to Kakashi PS.
So really, I don't see Kakashi being a great prodigy without the sharingan. All was left off was his incomplete chidori and his dexterity skills, other than that I wouldn't be surprised if Boruto can easily beat Kakashi in this scenario.

I dunno why but when Kaguya automatically switched dimension, amidst of falling down to the lava, Kakashi performed his skills in saving obito by tossing kunai and pinned his hand as well as throwing another kunia that was tagged along with the scroll in saving himself and Sakura. Basically he saved both Sakura and Obito of the same coin or perhaps I'm being too generous??
We get to follow the adventures of a spoiled brat that has everything handed to him and whose only problem is that his daddy that has a very important job is somewhat busy and won't play with him all the time. How amazing and we get to see him follow his dream to be like Sasuke I guess. He must be preparing to get a girl pregnant and then abandon her traveling the world doing whatever for the next decade.
