Hello All,
This theory is made 'on a whim' but bear with me. Read this snippet about the Sage of Six Paths:
"The Creation of All Things ( Banbutsu Sōzō) was an ability possessed by the Sage of the Six Paths, which he used to create the nine tailed beasts. The process he used is explained to have initially involved the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create physical forms from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the resulting creations. Thus, the Sage used this to purge the Ten-Tails's chakra from its body and split the energy into nine separate beings."
We all know that Minato has a "gift" waiting for Naruto. I know a lot of you, including myseld have a hunch that this gift is going to be the Kyuubi's Yin Chakra. But why is this important? The real gift behind this is that Minato is going to teach Naruto about Yin and Yang Chakra.
The process of using Yin chakra is explained by "the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create physical forms from nothingness"
This could be a number of different things, but something about this sounds familiar..
Oh that's right, it's Naruto's specialty, the Shadow Clone Jutsu
Naruto is a master of this technique and therefore will be explained how to utilize this Yin Chakra that Minato will give him. Maybe an advanced shadow clone jutsu? Or maybe even advance the ability to recreate REAL bodies for the trapped Bijuu? (just an idea)
Yin chakra: comes from the spiritual energy (Naruto has already met all of the Bijuu and learned their names + spiritual engergies, Building the relationship with Kurama and attaining Kyuubi mode is also an example of spiritual energy, but what else?)
Now here's the process with Yang Chakra "through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the resulting creations."
Yang chakra: comes from the physical energy (Naruto's Chakra levels are high, ability to heal quickly, sage mode, ability to distribute his chakra)
I believe that Minato is going to teach Naruto more about Yin chakra, and therefore Naruto will be challenged to balance both Yin and Yang chakra as the SO6P did. We have already seen that the Juubi even sees Naruto as having the presence of the Sage of Six Paths and this might be the only way to defeat the Juubi, because this parallels the way that the Sage of Six Paths defeated it.
