It's to show Naruto's association with the Light and the Sun which represents Yang. Yellow, Orange and Red symbolise Yang. Kishi choose Yellow because it is the lightest shade of the Three and as such best fits Naruto as the bearer of the Sun.

This is my interpretation of it.

Before he got KCM, all his forms were red and the explanation was Kurama's hate(mangafax). Then Bee, being a perfect jin kinda
destroyed that cause manga inconsistencies.

So remember during the war when BM Naruto was handing out chakra and they said it was the 9 tails, but it felt more like Naruto's chakra?

I think Kurama's chakra is being changed to suit Naruto, the same way he transferred it to the alliance, vs what Bee does just using the 8 tails chakra.




Either that or the torii seal he got when he unlocked KCM.

If you remember right, previous cloaks with one tail, and three tails were orange.
The only reason why 4-8 tails look red is because of the blood his tearing skin had.
With that said, seeing how the big cloack was orange, this one that is attached to the skin is really thin, therefore it becomes yellow.

Or its just BS, seeing how is full Bijuu Mode Fox cloak is yellow and not orange.
