Now, obviously Naruto is doing some kind of training with a new jutsu.
Whether it is close range or long range we don't know.

If it was close range then Naruto is using his shadow clones because he is very far away from those trees. If you look a little to the left of Naruto you see a small bridge close to the trees. If you compare the size of them you can tell that Naruto is very far away and that they are enormous, a lot bigger than most. It would take a powerful jutsu to cut through that completely, obviously he has been training a lot.

I doubt he was training with shadow clones because if he was he would've picked a spot with a lot more targets seeing as he already destroyed the ones here. If he was training with mass ammounts of shadow clones he would've picked an area with more targets. So I think that he was using a long range attack with one or two clones assisting him, possibly Rasenshuriken.

We know that Rasenshuriken is a close range attack, but it is possible for it to be a long range one too. Also, Naruto mentioned once that he has to keep practicing this technique in Sage Mode. Why in sage mode only? Its because Sage Mod uses Nature Chakra. How is that helpful? Well, Naruto could ancase that Nature chakra around the Rasenshuriken so that it can maintain its form while being thrown at the target. There is nearly an infinet ammount of Nature Chakra also so he doesn't need to worry much about it running out in mid-air.

My prediction is that Naruto is learning to use Rasenshuriken as a long range attack, thus perfecting it so that he doesn't do damage to himself. I doubt it will be easy and I think he needs to train a lot more to master it.

What if he's practicing using the Demon Fox's Cloak in Sage Mode? We all know that Naruto in his Kyuubi form could do that to the landscape with the swing of an arm.

We also know that Naruto said he won't use his power anymore which we can all believe that he won't. I'm sure he could do the same thing with Demon Fox's Cloak thouhg and I've been meaning to post that up a while ago but waited for more info to come out.

Yeah, but he could've had a change of heart when he realized that natural energy will help him recover/protect his body from the Demon Fox's Cloak. If he can use Kyuubi's chakra and still stay completely conscious while doing so, AND without causing any harm to his body.. why wouldn't he use it? The same can be said for Rasenshuriken as well.

Btw, I really think it is Rasenshuriken.. but recently I've been thinking about how it could be Kyuubi's power.

That was when he used it for the first time, and it was enormous and powerful but uncontrolable so much that he hurt himself. The whole point of mastering it is controlling it and I think that he is learnig to contain it so that it is a lot sharper like wind is supposed to be and that it slices through somethng in the form of a disk, like shown with the trees instead of detonating. ^^

Nah, id oubt it will protect him from it. :/
It would probably repel the natural chakra out of his body and then take over again.

i dont think its rasenshuriken cuz rasenshuriken is not cuting straight like a sword, its like a tornado cutting everything what it engulf's and leaves a big round crater.

Yeah thats what I was saying b4, that he perfeted the rasenshuriken so that instead of causing an uncontroolable explosion it slices through.

Naruto's first Rasen-shurrikan worked like the top image. He used wind chakara which surrounded rasengan. The wind chakara being very sharp was made into millions of pieces because rasengan exploded onto the enemy, throwing the wind chakara in every direction.

In the second image, I am showing wind chakara INSIDE of rasengan. Remember in his initial training, Naruto made the waterballoon rotate in a circle, imagine that being wind energy. Naruto is able to compress the wind chakara INSIDE of the Rasengan form. When something is compressed, it moves ALOT faster. THUS this new rasengan would not harm Naruto, because the wind is trapped inside....

This would explain how such a smooth cut was made in the mountain. Circle rasengan = perfect circle hole... Flat rasengan = flat hole "cut" in the mountain.

After looking at the "mountains or trees" Naruto cut down very carefully I discovered that they are bamboo shoots. I am 100% sure because I have bamboo in my backyard.

Also, an interesting thing I noticed is that the first time Naruto was training when the old frog was sleeping

it is not actually smoke coming from mountains or trees but from a cut down bamboo shoot.

the thing is that when its compressed it really isnt shape manipulation, because when he made the rasenshuirken it was also shape manipulated. I doubt that he would compress it because it would then weakend the attack itself, the wind wouldnt be inside or outside because the whole thing was elemntally recomposed into wind.

1. That while spinning, the wind chakara (mixed with normal chakara inside rasengan) is sharp enough to break the rasengan barrier...
OR
2. Naruto is changing the shape of rasengan (all wind chakara) to make it into a shurrikan.

Sooo... This either way, this means that the wind chakara on the inside is spinning faster than the normal chakara. I think Naruto may have been unable to make rasen-shurrikan properly before when he fought akatsuki, HOWEVER during sage training, he was strong enough to compress and keep the wind chakara inside.

Main point is that Naruto's jutsu is sharp and long range, the true intent of Rasen-shurrikan. We are only debating how it got to this point. So far I've only read that Naruto's technique is like Sora's technique, or some sort of a sword. I think those ideas are WAY out there. We have to figure out what Naruto has done differently. He is either throwing himself as a clone at the target, or he found a new way to form rasen-shurrikan to make it easier to handle...

Rasengan flies with the enemy when they are hit right??? well what if he uses wind to "push" rasengan towards the target? like the waterfall... he pushes the water infront of him away, and is able to hold back the water because of the constant release of wind chakara forward...

But ther is no normal chakra.
It is fully composed into wind chakra. The outsdie is shaped like a shuriken because naruto recomposed the shape of the outisde, probably to make it look cool lol. The reason he need sage mode is because he needs the nature chakra to maintain it while thrown, if that is what he's doing. Without the out "shelll" of nature chakra encasing it the rasenshuriken would deform once naruto releases it from his pallm, atleast thats what i think.
