Well... years have gone past i guess.

It was always going to be Naruto and Hinata, they make a better couple.

Does seem slightly forced forward... but considering the timeskip and the fact that it's actually supposedly going to be the Last Naruto movie (as well as confirmed canon by kishi), i guess this is where kishi wants the story to be. That with the addition of Kakashi being the Hokage, as well as one of Kaguyas descendants being a main character/villain in the story.

Kishi says it's canon. Is what it is.

I'm still looking forward to watching the movie.
