Never seen Naruto with killer intent but at the same time i don't think it restricts him in battle. The argument could go both ways. Sometimes killer intent can be the best way of doing things, an just because one would have intent to kill doesn't mean that they'll lose focus of the fight & their power. Naruto didn't need intent to kill because he could match his enemies with what was available to him at the time. It just comes down to the situation i guess.

If naruto was smarter he would of just used a bunshin of each element... Just to f ck with people lol

Nope, the more bunshin he uses the weaker they become and Susanoo would just neg them all

Naruto is free of hatred which will means he will NEVER have intent to kill someone he's forgiven, that excuse is just another attempt at giving him non-existent credit. And Sasuke himself only intends to kill when he wants REVENGE.

The truth is NEITHR of them will ever fight with full intent because Naruto can't kill Sasuke while Sasuke always gets emotional and forgets to use his brains unlike the fight against Deidara, Itachi and Danzo.

Well :lol Naruto only meets Obito like what, how many hours ? When Obito get killed, he "just" rip off Kaguya arm and teared her apart :lol

Now tell Sasuke cut off Sakura head and you will see the result right away :lol

Killing intent, negative emotions. These make him weaker and if he had those he'd be underestimating a lot of opponents like Madara. These aren't what he uses to fight. If he had killing intent he'd be oblivious to the fact that the opponent has something up their sleeve.

Now we all know in the Vote fight Naruto was holding back till provoked but this killing intent is honestly an excuse Naruto fans will say in the belief that with that Naruto would stomp Sasuke.

Really proves nothing though, I don't see a lil dodge character or anything on kaguya in the panel(not sure lol) so naruto was aiming to incapacitate.. So no intent to kill there

Lol, I also think having that supposed killing intent would drain him faster.

Yes, if he had negative emotions basically we are saying Kurama would feed off of it and completely drain him of his own chakra. Keep in mind that the whole plot would be altered because his original goal was to be friends with Kurama and the other Bijuu but what killing intent will really do is feed Kurama and completely rob him of his chakra. When he used the Tori seal to seal of Kurama he still had to keep Kurama in check because Kurama is darkness himself.

Killing intent would drain his energy and despite having large chakra reserves it will get chewed up slowly. Naruto should be a positive embodiment and that's how Kurama compared him with Hagoromo, because of the fact that he could change people. If he had killing intent I honesty don't think he would have made it past pain.

The killing intent/heavy emotions suit the Uchiha because the Sharingan is a reflection of all feelings. The heavier the trauma, the more powerful their Sharingan gets. Naruto with killing intent would have lost to Sasuke I believe simply because him and Kurama would not be in agreement.

Kaguya missing arm say hi :hi:

Naruto didn't even have killing intent lol. His main goal was to seal Kaguya so he knew he had to get the job done when Sasuke failed, he was pissed at Black Zetsu's remarks but now is reacting to insults having killing intent?

You're right. I think Kishimoto make naruto's KN states show fans what naruto would be like with killing intent. Irrational, uncontrollable and not battle smart at all. Naruto's best when he's doing things for a reason, and even at his strongest he stalemates with Sasuke. On the other hand Sasuke is at his strongest and most rational when he has killing intent but he didn't really want to kill Naruto in the end and changed his mind during the battle, so when people say Kishimoto nerfed Sasuke we really know that he held back for a reason.

I hate it when he does that.

This is the only reason that makes me never respect Sasuke :sdo:
His fights are so cool and all, then Kishimoto decides to make him look like a playing card amongst the grown ups/fodder. :rage:

Seen him VS Killer B? I was like WTF is going on here

This post basically sums up the difference of what makes Naruto and Sasuke so strong in their own ways. Naruto has to have a goal/ambition, whether it be protect a loved one, or to prove himself he has to have a goal to be so strong. If he simply goes for the kill, I believe his rational thinking and intelligence would go down the drain.

Acting off of anger is not really his type so it really wouldn't suit him. Sasuke is different, if he has to pursue a goal then he would have to be dedicated to revenge and honestly revenge for a purpose he had in mind for example Konoha using Itachi for their benefits made him stronger. Karin sensed he had darker chakra and had a huge chakra potency. Sasuke uses killing intent for a goal, that's what makes him strong. Ultimately as we saw in Vote 2, Naruto freed him of it.

Very true, Orochimaru had no problem facing him when he went on a rage

Yeah he did that because Sasuke was the decoy who provided the openinig.

Sasuke woudln't cut off Sakura's head unless she's inbetween him and his revenge. That's the only time he's possessed with hatred

I see a lot of people using this as a what if "well if he had killing intent..." What's the basis of this? Has he ever had it? He mentions to haku he's going to kill him(kyuubi influence) and I THINK he mentions feeling like he wants to kill nagato( also kyuubi somewhat) but other than that has he ever had it? I personally don't think it's part of his character and I don't think a "killing intent" would help him out much if at all. Your thoughts?

Your somewhat correct i feel as though naruto gave his best effort because to match sasukes killing intent he had to use jutsus that were powerful enough to kill someone of sasukes caliber therefore he didnt need killing intent in that fight seeing as he used jutsus capable of killing sasuke throughtout the fight and vice versa sasuke tells himself before the first vote that hes going to kill naruto yet he had naruto decisively beaten at the end of the fight a simple kunai to the throat would have ended it but he chose not too it would habe ended the same at vote 2 had sasuke been victorious imo

Well said, although vote1 I think sasuke just kept him alive because he wanted to beat itachi with his own power on his own terms, not the way itachi wanted him to, by vote 2 sasuke realizes just how serious and how far naruto is willing to go for his "brother" and that no matter what, naruto just wouldn't see him as anything else but that

Kiling intent doesnt always means having the desire to kill you're oponent it just you dont have to hold back on using your most strongest jutsu, streng, speed, etc.

Naruto had killing intent on the kaguya arc and he din't against sasuke or else he would had been spaming the same attacks that used against kaguya, kiling intent doesn't mean bloodlust its just mean you wont hold back

What i think you are people are missundertanding its kiling intent with bloodlust like this scene

Why would he spam the same techs sasuke just saw him use while fighting sasuke himself though?

Lambasing on what Naruto achieved during the Kaguya arc because the "Coolest guy" died is irrelevant to his fight with Sasuke because he is not the same person and does not think the way Kaguya does.
I agree that Sasuke isnt the same person like Kaguya but he still could kill Sasuke
