Naruto's Intelligence

On a scale of 10, how much would you rate Naruto?
While at times he may seem to be the most dumb-witted person in narutoverse (which is funny, but at the same time not very pleasurable to have a dumb headed protagonist)

But do notice the fact that during most difficult situations he ends up making smart decisions.
His personality is unique, while at times he will be dumb, while at the other he will act really intelligent.
While at times he will speak of never giving up, at other times he will be stuck somewhere in between the decision.

I no longer see him saying "I'll never give up, That's my ninja way!" anymore.
Why does kishi change his personality every now and then?
Lee is more hardworking and dedicated than naruto, shikamaru is more intelligent than naruto. If they had the kyuubi wouldn't have they been stronger?

Ok I talk to much, just give the goddamn rating.
I'd say 7/10.
9/10 for Sasuke.
1/10 for Sakura :flaw:

I'd say 6.5, he has his moments but he still makes dumb choices in his fights.

8.5/10, based on battle smarts.
Lee wouldn't be stronger than BM Naruto even if he had Kurama. Shikamaru would put Kurama's chakra to good use, but he still wouldn't be better than BM Naruto either.

When it comes to combat, I´d give him an 8. His past pranks have given him the ability to surprise the enemy in many ways. Also, he´s smart enough to use his clones to analyse his opponents and think of a strategy, usually involving his knowledge on that same opponent´s tecniques, which is something a top ninja should do.

Sure, he sometimes takes unnecessary risks but he has PnJ, which is stronger than any other tecnique out there.
