I can see it already.

Paul Strong (Naruto) lives in California, he likes to surf but something inside him is not right. His friend, Samson (Sasuke) gets all the girls because of his eyes being different and according to the locals is equal to Naruto surfing. Out of nowhere a hooded guy appears that steals their surfboards, which in fact were legendary surfboards shaped by the legendary Brazilian shaper "Sandro of the 6 waves".

Naruto will be played by Zack Effron.

And Sasuke by Bill from Tokyo Hotel.

If Dragonball Evolution has taught us anything, it's that Hollywood can't make live action movies based on animes.
Not true. Comic book movies were crap at one point too. With the right studio, director, and respect for the source material then I believe that Anime movies can be successful. We had to have movies like Batman and Robin and Fantastic Four before we got movies like The Dark Knight and The Avengers.

Besides Edge of Tomorrow was a dope ass movie.

It's official now they are actually going through with it. Dumb idea honestly.
Nothing good will come out of this, I can be sure 100%, how the hell they will pull a movie when the Naruto is ending and how long can you milk the non-milking cow which doesn't milk any more anyway ? It's just another attempt by Hollywood to get more money for something terrible they produce and let's just call it ultimate-milking-jutsu so just so we know we are on the same page.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Batman/Spider-Man is not actually in Anime universe and therefore you can't compare it those two.

Oh stop acting like pussies.

Yeah, it could end badly but this has nothing to do with Dragonball Evolution. That failed because it was handled by James Wong, and he fails at anything but comedy. Avatar isn't really anime but that failed because it was rushed and had M. Night handling it.

But this could fair half decently because Michael Gracey is propped to direct it and Avi Arad... well... there might be some decent fight scenes.
