I really think that it's greatly exaggerated.

The guy was a genius, he learned things in weeks. Sure he had to try and use his chakra to do so, but that isn't really a problem for him.

Naruto has huge chakra reserves meaning that it actually takes him a long time to get tired. The guy has it easy because he can keep training without that much strain.

Think about this, Naruto was able to create an entirely new jutsu in a few days (Rasenshurikan), something that not even his father could do - the so called genius. Calling him a harworker doesn't even make sense when he was able to catch up to Sasuke, who was always far above him, in an extremely short amount of time. I mean, it took Sasuke a month to learn Chidori while Naruto learned Rasengan in a freakin' week.

Just because Naruto learns by doing things with his body doesn't mean that he is a hard worker. The guy could train once and get it because of his reserves.

Someone who is a hard worker is someone like Lee. A guy who doesn't have high chakra reserves, or something that makes his training much easier.Lee actually trains every single time he gats the chance.

Calling Naruto a hard worker is BS IMO.

Ashura was the same as well, he was called a dunce but that was because he was compared to Indra or Hagoromo, same with Naruto he was called a dunce because there were other legends like Kakashi, Minato, Hiruzen, Itachi who showed tremendous skill and talent at an younger age than Naruto U_U

From what we know, Ashura actually needed other peoples' help and didn't have an enormous amount of chakra. Naruto just needed someone to tell him how to do things.

It's just my opinion on the matter.

To be fair, the Rasengan took the Fourth + Jiraiya months to complete, and it took Naruto 3 days. So yeah he does put alot of hard work. Something like Sasuke who is born a genius doesn't have to go through.

huge chakra reserves but remember he almost all the time did training like no one else
almost every single time after training session he was in hospital bed or in sleep for days. that just goes to show how hard he worked & his mental strength to do same thing again & again without getting tired of it goes to show how dedicated he is.

I agree with you, but prepare for the people who would exclaim that you are just a Naruto hating Sasuke fanboy even though you gave your honest opinion.

His huge chakra reserves made the training seem like nothing, is what i'm trying to say. He doesn't work hard, he's just lucky that hehas the reserves to keep going.

He learned it in three days, and yet he puts in hard work?

He doesn't get tired quickly, meaning that what we considerhard work, he would consider childs play.

Really? That's why Sasuke trained much harder to gain chidori.

Doing something in days means you worked more then the one who did something in hours.

You're wrong on a lot of accounts.

For one, every time we see Naruto training, he is under immense physical exhaustion. For example, training to learn the Rasengan. He literally trained so hard that he passed out on the training ground. Discrediting him for learning powerful techniques quickly says nothing about his training, it rather shows his ingenuity and clever nature.

He learned the Rasengan and FRS through unorthodox methods that only he had the capability of doing thanks to his reserves.

He had to work very hard to figure it all out, and it was never easy for him. He was just good at finding work arounds and using his brain in a different way.

Also, you should re-work your argument against him. There are a lot of exaggerations on your part, such as setting Rock Lee, the hardest worker in the manga, as the bar for what training should be. In part 1, whenever Naruto was not on a mission, where was he? Training. What was he doing for 2 and a half years? Training. Once he returned at the beginning of part 2, the events of the rescue Kazekage arc and Sasuke and Sai arc happened in such short time that Naruto did not have time to train.

You also exaggerated when you said that Naruto can train to learn something and get it after one time. Do you have any examples of this? Because there is none, none at all.

It's a good thing Naruto doesn't have a sharingan that would let him copy jutsu or he would be a double genius.

what is up with Sasuke fans being so butt hurt to day
Naruto did work hard. even if he did have a large chakra reserves doesn't mean it was unfair he only had that because he was an uzumaki and they have large reserve's of chakra.
and again just because you have a large reserve's of chakra doesn't mean you didn't work hard to obtain something that like saying thats like saying that hashirama didn't work hard because he has a reserves of chakra.
pls stop being so butt hurt

I mostly agree. Naruto does work hard but nearly as much as it's made out to be. Naruto learns techniques very quickly and he's got decent battle smarts too. He's by no means a dunce IMO, he's a genius in this aspect.

He's a hard-worker... no doubt, he puts his max. effort into his training.

Also, he's a good tactician IMO... He know about his limits and strengths and implement many awe-striking ways to learn things...
Ex. it was Kakashi's idea in FRS learning.

This ^ Nice observation :win:

OT: I do agree with the OP though. Naruto was introduced as a dunce and a nobody so to speak. then we find out:

1: He is the son of the 4th Hokage
2: He is an Uzumaki who are on par with the Uchiha and Senju
3: He is a Jinchuriki
4: He is the child of prophecy
5: His ability to learn things extremely fast and in the heat of battle.
6: His mastery of Shadow Clones exeeds anyone in the Narutoverse.

Hard working sure, but he is definately not a dunce nor mundane. Someone like Kakashi, Gai, Shikamaru, and Lee are the real hard working people.

this is true, even though sasuke is a genius and has natural talent that exceeds that of naruto,i always found sasuke to be more of a hardworker than naruto, sasuke was training his entire childhood, while naruto was being a prankster
