My guess is that at the beginning of next chapter he turns and grabs sasuke's chidori like a badass. Looks dead at sasuke in the eyes, not even wincing, as his hand gets electrocuted while sasuke looks shocked.

my thought is. at the First fight at V.O.T.E naruto was in kinda the same position he is in right now. and at that time he used multiple shadow clones to pull sasuke up out of the water. So what if he is doing the same thing here just holding a chain of Shadow clones for a surprise attack on Sasuke? any thoughts?
