Narutos Hag Chakra + Hinata Ham Chakra=Boruto Jougan?

Now after this episode i firmly believe Narutos hagaromo chakra mixed with Hinatas Hamura chakra and thats what gave Boruto a hybrid otsutsuki power.

Thing is, that eye doesn't seem to be new or unique, as Momoshiki recognizes it as a power of the Ootsutsuki, so it may be that the upper members of the clan have that eye in place of the Byakugan.

Remember Hagoromo and Hamura both considered as fodder for Momoshiki, the only worty to mention by them is chakura collected by Kaguya. I think the possible reason for Jougan is because he is son of Hinata and got some power adjustment from Toneri. Sound stpd but at this point the possible linage for Boruto to awaken jougan is between among byakugan user themself which leads Boruto to gain power of Otsutuski by the main sources which is Otsutsuki and Hyuga.

Momoshiki once mention that Boruto will not enherited those power from Naruto which is damn fregile statement since Boruto kagebunshi all the time, spamming rasengan and those wishker thingy.

I would think so. The Uzumaki's don't have a dojutsu and it doesn't seem like the Hyuga have encountered the Jougan seeing as Hiashi couldn't figure it out with Boruto in the earlier episodes. The only external factors are Hago and Hamura's chakra which are in his parents triggering something in him that could have been in Kaguya as well only that she didn't unlock it.

Maybe not after she eats the chakra fruit but we have to realize she was sent to scout Earth. And if she was sent, then she possibly had people above her imo.

Its probably his destiny, Hamura chakra cannot be stronger than Momoshiki since Kaguya said to be his subordinate and all preparation is make just for Momoshiki to come. I believe Hinata destiny as byakugan princess for the Otsutsuki clan is one of the reason then Boruto destiny as Human Child since Jougan known as a 'pure eye'. Toneri must be one of the intermidiate for all this.

I'm thinking the same thing. It's not like Kaguya appeared out of thin air. I wonder if they separated themselves by branches like the Hyuga did...

Not necessarily. Genetics can also be very random and luck based even amongst siblings and other family members. Even in the NV:

Asura didn't get sharingan or rinnegan did he? Yet Indra got sharingan.
Hamura didn't get rinnegan.
Hagoromo didn't get tenseigan or byakugan.

No known descendants or siblings of Hashirama got mokuton (unless Moegi is secretly his descendant, but that still doesn't take away the fact that Tsunade didn't get it, nor did Tobirama, and probably not Itama, Kawarama, Butsuma, or Nawaki either)

Boruto didn't get byakugan.

Temari and Kankurou (and also Shikadai) didn't get magnet release from Rasa (yet Gaara apparently did).

When it comes to genetics, even if a child has the potential to inherit a trait (based on their parents having the trait), that doesn't guarantee that the child will get the trait. This also means that just because one sibling gets a trait, doesn't mean that the other automatically has to.
