Because it was stated, that the frog senjutsu would turn someone into stone, if he or she gathers to much natural energy.
But it was not stated by the other senjutsu mode like Kabuto snake senjutsu or Hashirama´s own senjutsu.
Not to mentioned that Naruto is using rikudo´s senjutsu.
