Chapter 6: Angelic

That was a long day. It took a while for Tsunade to calm me down. I almost stormed out of the city just to hunt him down...Sasuke. After returning to the summit. The meeting continued as if nothing happened. The only thing we actually acomplished was that the future Jinchuriki had to go to the waterfall of truth. At least that way the tailed beasts would get a little more respect. That made me cheer up a little.

It was getting dark. It was 7:50 at night. The lights of Konoha began to turn on. The lights in my apartment were off. I stood in the darkness, staring into the mirror. Like that first time in the field hospitol, my Rinnegan adjusted to the light and half of my body was illuminated. The other half was dark, the only thing I could see was the blood red sharingan. Light and darkness...could this mean something? Was it good and evil? God and the devil?

I was going to meet up with Konan at 8. I went downstairs and there she was, waiting for me. It was at this moment that I realized that she wasn't wearing her Akatsuki cloak. Today at the summit and right now she wore a pair of tight black pants, high healed shoes, and a dark blue top that left her arms and naval uncovered, her 4 bellybutton piercings showing. She actually looked really pretty.

"Good to see you Naruto! So where are we going?" She said with a smile. I completely forgot to figure out where we were going to go.

"Um...sorry Konan. It has been so busy, I forgot to reserve anything," I said with my cheeks blushing.

"Well it doesn't have to be anything special, lets just have fun," she replied with a giggle. My confidence returning I decide the best place I could take her was Ichiraku's.

"Do you like Ramen?"

"I don't eat it often, but it is good," she responded. I took her with me to get some Ramen. We both got a bowl. After eating we just sat around since at this time of night it wasn't to busy. We talked about what we have been doing. We talked about a lot of non-serious stuff like that. We both told a few jokes and got each other laughing.

"Hm, I was hoping I would think of something else we could do, but I'm at a loss," I said when the conversation slowed. Konan sighed and looked around, then up to the Hokage stone faces. Her face lit up and she stood up.

"I have an idea," she said as she began to pull out some money. I made her put her money away and I payed for both of us. It seemed like the gentlemanly thing to do. She took me by the hand and we went to her hotel. I waited outside for her. She came back out with a basket. She again took me by the hand and lead me up to the top of the Hokage mountain. Behind the faces there was a flat spot with some grass that we sat down on.

She pulled out a small bottle and a couple of small cups and asked, "Have you ever had Sake? I know you are kinda young so have you?"

I shook my head, "Jiraiya sensei said it was a vice of shinobi or something like that. No I havn't."

"Well, I don't normally drink. Only on special occasions. I figure it wouldn't hurt anything," she said as she poured both of us a shot. We both drank. It was sweet and tingled my tounge a little.

We both had a few shots and stopped drinking. We talked for hours. Our conversation got more open and relaxed as we went on. We talked about our hopes and dreams. Our likes and dislikes. Our beliefs and our friends. We talked about our fears and our regrets. She talked about being a war orphan and meeting Yahiko and Nagato. I talked about being an outcast, and I talked about Sasuke. We both talked about Jiraiya sensei, his wierd manarisms and his pervy habits. We laughed, we cried and we smiled.

We layed down next to each other after that. We stared at the sky and began to pick up shapes in the stars. She layed her head on my chest. I looked down from the sky to realize she was looking at me.

The lights of Konoha turned off as the night moved on. It was very late at night. We sat up after a while. I went to say something to her, but before a word could escape, I was locked into the kiss of the advancing woman. I wanted to pull away, but I was enchanted by this woman. Our lips were locked together. We were inseperable. The thoughts of the war, the summit, the attack of pain, everything that came before, Sakura, Hinata and Sasuke all left my mind. My entire mind was focused on the beautiful woman who was leaning into me.

After a few moments, we pulled away from each other. Our eyes never losing contact we stood up. We began walking back to the city. We both remained silent. Not a word was spoken, but as if we were communicating by the mind, our every move was syncronized.

We walked towards Konan's hotel, but just as quickly as it approached, it was falling behind us as we continued moving. We walked to the staircase of my building. I expected her to walk away from me at that point but she followed me upstairs. We walked in and closed the door behind us. <3

(so much for naru-nata :p or is it? stay tuned for the drama and action to come!)
