So people can walk on water, breath fire, teleport/summon, and fly (Tuschikage), yet the optical science and physics still applies in Naruto?
My mind...

No, that is not true. When kakashi was running at the enemy with his Chidori for the first time, he did not see that enemies were coming at him because there was a tunnel vision. there is a lot of things that he missed because the area around him was moving too fast for his eye's to take and process the data. There is no bases to your claim, scientific or otherwise. The only way Kakashi got passed that was having the Sharingan at his back the second time. Having byakugan or sharingan are far better then normal eyes.
If anything and please be aware this is specualtion not fact! The karuma's chakra may enhance his vision to help him out, but his normal eyes are no match for Sharingan or Byakugan.
Agreed. The thread creator assumes that, because Naruto can move at an exceptional speed and velocity, his eyes and his visual perception can also grasp its surroundings exceptionally well. We, as readers/fans, can not verify this wild assumption until either the manga or anime confirms it. Since a Sharingan user have DEFINED exceptional eye abilities, ie super resolution, visual perception, detection, genjustus, etc, then one can conclude that the sharingan is better than a mediocre eye.
As for which eye can read/perceive its surroundings faster argument, we do not have official proof to disprove either side until the manga/anime does so.
The fact that naruto can react to outside influences while moving at these speeds confirms that he can perceive just as well as normal while moving in them.

Your stating an opinion back it up with manga. And naruto can see. Look at the fight with 3rd raikage. He did a precise counter attack you need to see to do a counter, you can evade off sense, so your wrong there. Also, he can't train his sharingan to see faster, because he hasn't really encountered opponents at that speed besides A. And this is how it works. Eyes --> synapse --> Brain. The brain and eyes can only see so fast, and sasuke doesn't have the chakra, nor the chakra control to speed it up so where he can keep up with blitzing speeds. Naruto can because with those chakra boosts, he gets a whole boost including data transmitting and recieving to his brain, since chakra flows everywhere in his body. Even in Sennin mode his eyes are different, so he can percieve more. In KM his chakra is just surging allowing everything for him to be faster and stronger. Including sight this thread is about hi SEEING faster not his eyes in a whole being better.
Minato eyes> Sharingon
I read up to page 5 so idk if this was brought up but... Remember when sasuke fought bee? Sasuke could barely keep up with his movements and the only time he could really see through bees movements was when he moved straight at him... SO.. is narutos eyes better then sasukes? NO.. not at all... Does his eyes perceive visuals better? Debatable...
As we all know, the sharingan allows the user to track movements of extremely fast enemies to the extent that they almost have a precognitive ability of seeing what their opponent is going to do.
Now, if you've ever seen a movie, then you know each second is made up of frames that move so fast your eyes can't physically process each frame individually and so they are all blended together to make it seem as if the movie is happening in real time. These frames move at 24 frames per second which means that each frame is put on screen for 1/24th of a second. Each second on screen uses 1.5 feet of reel for every 24 frames. Which means that anything moving at a speed of 1.5 feet per second is indistinguishable to the human eye.
Naruto as we also know, is now the fastest character in the manga, and probably the fastest character in the entirety of the world. [Naruto can move at speeds faster than Minato Namikaze's Flying Thunder God which is described as being near instantaneous (let's call it light-speed for argument's sake). The speed of light is approximately 989,315,111 feet/second, 659,543,407 x the speed of which the human eye can perceive.] [EDIT] I have recently been convinced/reminded that Naruto is not faster than FTG. Now, for argument's sake again, let's SAY FTG is the speed of light (which already is a huge compromise seeing as it's much MUCH faster than light). Also let's say Naruto moves even 5000 x slower than light speed. He is still moving at speeds of 197,863 feet/second. Faster than the human eye can make out, which means the scenery naruto is passing by seems to be moving that fast from Naruto's point of view, meaning if he can perceive the scenery around him, his eyes are on par with the sharingan. [EDIT]
When moving at these speeds, it would be impossible to distinguish objects outside of you from each other because of the tunnel effect (even present when kakashi used his chidori for the first time). This could be remedied when fighting characters of an evil nature such as tobi and the tailed beasts due to his new ability to sense evil thoughts and feelings.
However, when using these speeds against opponents such as A, when near hinata, or when fighting characters brought back by the Edo Tensei who are not inherently evil but are being forced to fight against their will, his ability to sense negative emotions would not help in seeing or sensing where these people are.
With that said, naruto must be able to see his enemies and the terrain clearly while in his Nine Tails Chakra Shroud as he cannot use sage mode simultaneously. Therefor, naruto's eyes are AT THE VERY LEAST, on par with the sharingan.
That's all i have to say. I know it's a manga where people can breath fire and walk on water, but i just wanted to point out the science behind Naruto. xd
OK buddy, naruto does NOT move faster then FTG technique. He just moves so fast that all you see is a yellow flash. FTG is instantaneous, and since it manipulates S/T, then it can't even be counted as speed.
If you were to move at the speed of light from earth to the next closest galaxy, it would take you billions of years to reach it even when moving so fast. If you were to teleport there, then you would move from the earth to said galaxy instantly, since it allows the user to move between two places instantly.
Therefore speed<instantaneous
Well, I haven't read through all 400 messages on this thread, but I though I'd chime in...
First off, to say that you can't see something moving at 1.5 ft/second it silly. Let's do the math...
If you take 1.5 ft/second that means 90 ft per minute (1.5 x 60) Which again, is not fast... To put it in simpler terms-90 feet/minute is 5400 feet/hour, which translates to 1.02 miles per hour. Trying to say that is too fast to see is ridiculous. The average person can wave their arm at a faster speed than this. So, I'll say your movie example is a bit out of place...
Now, on to the actual Manga... Naruto has unhuman speed, which he gained after taming the 9-tails, so it would make sense that he also gained some sort of perceptual advantages when it comes to speed, most likely due to the 9-tails itself. The Sharingan, keeping it's special abilities like izunagi out of the equation, allows the user to see every minute detail of whats happening, as it happens. However, just seeing very detailed info about something, and being able to track a rapid moving target are 2 different things.
Well, this post is long enough, please, argue some more, it's entertaining. (And please correct me if I'm mistaken, as it's been a minute since I've read some of these)
I always thought about this nice about pointing this out i think this is a plot hole.As we all know, the sharingan allows the user to track movements of extremely fast enemies to the extent that they almost have a precognitive ability of seeing what their opponent is going to do.
