I get the others but how is Gaara like Piccolo? Other than being kind of evil-y at first? They're completely different otherwise. Gaara is an orphan prodigy with daddy issues. Piccolo is the evil half of the original Piccolo who is a Namekian alien. Piccolo's role in DBZ was pretty much to train Gohan and buy time.

Piccolo was a evil tyrant until he fought naruto....uh I mean goku..

Later they became close friends.

I suspect gaara will be in naruto's son life as the same as piccolo too.
