When you think about the actual timeline of all these recent chapters (starting from the war arc) its kinda ridiculous. Every time you turn around someone got a power up, some enemy gets trumped only to turn around to trump the hero's last move. Most just found out that Naruto and Sauce died, then they come back with mysterious power ups, mandy has done more flying around then anything (half expected some anti-air jutus to fill the sky by now).

What a mess.
