Ok, so reaching the epilogue of the series it became pretty much obvious that Naruto's plot is based on the "that one person that can 1 hit kill everyone", based on this, there is no point in having any other countries or villages since this one guy can easily interfere and kill both sides if a war starts.

I pretty much can bet that all the villages will become one great land and one great protector which will clearly be the future Sage.

I mean think about it, what is the point for the Raikage to be a Raikage since there is someone who can destroy him or the village very easily, that's why he will probably (after; if he will be revived) accept one big country. After all, if the mightiest guy wants to destroy, what can the others do ?

Meh, he might become sage but there will still be those who pose a threat even if villages do unite. Other kages are going to be necessary because no person is capable of truly watching over and protecting every village, and he's going to die eventually. Best to keep possible replacements around in that case, he can't stick around forever.
