[Theory] Naruto's bandages

As we've all seen in the promotional art for The Last, Naruto has bandages on his right arm and hand. This is also the hand that he received his So6P powers in.

In the latest chapter, Naruto and Sasuke are duking it out fist to fist. One thing that stood out to me was that sasuke is using his chidori with his dominant hand, his left, which is also the hand that he received his So6P powers in.

Do you think it would be possible that the reason for the bandages would be that Naruto actually grabs Sasuke's hand to release the jutsu by connecting both of their So6P signs? This would definitely cause a lot of damage to Naruto, but with both Naruto and Sasuke at their last bits of chakura, Sasuke's attack is just a basic chidori; it has enough power to kill Naruto if Sasuke hits Naruto as he is trying to, but not enough to obliterate him such as when Sasuke is powered up like earlier.
