Naruto's appeal in contrast to Boruto's lack thereof

One of the best youtube videos I've come across that explains what makes a well written magic system (in Naruto's case ninja system). Perhaps people will understand the stark contrast between Naruto and Boruto in one facet. Granted he uses the avatar series but the principles are applicable to all shows.

This should help people understand my harsh tone and criticisms(ass pulls etc) of the MC.
