'Listen… In this world, whenever there is light, there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exist, there must also be losers. The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars and hatred is born to protect love'

This quote from madara uchiha is imo the best of the whole manga. If you combine it with moral relativism(there is no universal law of moral and ethics) it contains the message of rikudos older son : peace through power. In other words infinite tsukuyomi. I must say that i didnt really get the point of the shinobi alliance. Why are they fighting against madara and obito? What is the reason they dont accept infinite tsukuyomi? Are they just fools or is there really a way of realizing the younger brothers ideal of peace?

So what do you think narutos final answer on peace will be? There are three possibilities:
1. He will find one and make his ideal of peace reality
2. He will find one because of plot no jutsu
3. He will fail, justifying moons eye plan

Im a utilitarian. My moral is based on one rule:'the greatest good(not interest) for the greatest number of individuals over the longest amount of time'
So, if infinite tsukuyomi is what will make everyone happy it is, even if they dont want it, morally justified

Dude, you need to re-read the pain arc. Minato brought up the problem with the shinobi system, and pain also brought up problems with the system. Hashirama gave clarity on how the modern system was created, which was during the era of warring clans. It worked for the time that he lived in but, it created problems for future generations.

Basically, the current system needs to be either reformed or replaced all together.

Rereaded it now. So the only reason is because jiraya believed that peace will magically become reality. Sounds like some sort of religion
