[Discussion] Naruto's afterlife experience might be a lot less important than we think?

Originally, I thought that through this near death experience Naruto was going to meet the So6P, but with both him and Sasuke in a similar state it seems that Kishi wants to pair up this near death experience. That would mean that Sasuke's experience would be similar, and Sasuke is NOT meeting the So6P....at least I think he isn't.

IMO their experience will be similar to that of Kakashi's, where they meet their fallen loved ones/ important ppl in their lives.

Naruto will meet J-man, Neji, Nagato, and maybe Kushina
Sasuke will meet his fallen Uchiha brethren, Itachi, and for some strange reason I think Izuna???

Naruto enjoy the small chat while make his peace with all of their deaths and affirm his will to continue his path.

Naruto will be saved by whatever crazy method Gaara is gonna use and probably be even more powerful with the transplanted yin fox
and Sasuke will awake from death with Rinnengan or some new power that awakened in Sasuke through will, DNA or some kooky reason.

Naruto may meet the So6P at some other point in this war, but for some reason it doesn't feel like the right timing for right now.

What do you think will happen?

Well I think this is the right exact time to meet the SO6P, and in my opinion both will meet him.
Like you said they will come back to life in some crazy way, and both will get a huge power-up

I have no clue where dude is taking Naruto. Using Kushina as reference putting a bijuu back shouldn't help, but we will just have to wait and see

don't know.. or to kakashi.. but we'll see, for now it's just guessing based on what we have..
maybe kyuubi told gaara that naruto could be saved if he became jinchuuriki of gedou mazou.. so he would be saved by its life force.

or he's just gonna get minato's kyuubi.

The reason being that Hagoromo was the one to tell the prophecy which is now happening in the current era. It wouldn't make sense if Hagoromo told a tale of a person who would turn the world, only if he was there to ensure it.

Him helping directly in the progress of Naruto and Sasuke's goals would ruin his own prophecy. So I still highly doubt that they will even meet him.

Reminds me of a fan fic that was written a few years back, actually it's pretty scary how close that guy's war arc and Kishi's have been and the fan fic was written around the time the Pain Arc finished.

I think Naruto and Sasuke having a different afterlife would be fitting, but I wouldn't rule out the Sage meeting. The Sage would probably want to speak to both of them because if he is aware of their actions then he probably will say how similar they are to his sons, and last time he dealt with his Sons, he created the curse of hatred by basically telling the Elder Son to gtfo, so he would see both of them in this case I think.

I think I like your idea more though, amidst the chaos, giving both Naruto and Sasuke a breather to be reinvigorated and to reaffirm their convictions before returning. Something about it seems serene, inspiring, and very Naruto-esque =D Awesome idea!
