Naruto's Able to control Mokuton

The reason why Naruto's chakra shroud affects mokuton is because it's full of lifeforce. Mokuton is special in so far as it's the only element which creates something living. The trees Yamato and Hashirama can create are alive, aside from the way they are created there is nothing to differentiate them from regular trees. Naruto's chakra shroud exudes a powerful lifeforce and mokuton reacts to that lifeforce. That's all it is. (idea of bearzerger from other forum)

So far you seem to be the one making the most sense. But the only question I have is then why do higher level techs. not react to the cloak? Like Wood Dragon and Demonic Statue of the Outer Path? Is it that they absorb/ utilize the life force much more efficiently or what?

but why does he affect mokuton?

uzumakis are gifted they have high life force combined with kuramas chakra i think it makes it more affective or u can say is richness of chakra when combined with narutos life force( as shown when naruto hand over his nd kuramas mixed chakra to chouji his body gets to its original size),
so wood is a living thing so it'll obviously affect wood but he cant use mukuton

think about it life energy. zetsu was made out hashirama cells.aka wood style. all naruto did was accelerate the cells with life energy thus zetsu turned to trees. with narutos life energy he is breathing life into earth sky ext. meaning he only controls the life energy itself. can make wasteland into lush forests. or a dead sea into a vast ocean ext. it more like giving life or such. if i not mistaken i may be wrong on how life energy works.

it also explains how he shared the chakra. he used his energy to boost all his allies giving them more power and lifeforce to get the job done.
