you say naruto is nothing without kurama and you tend to forget that kurama was the reason of base naruto's weakness,by making his chakra control harder than anyone else,and after he trained for it his whole life concentraing mainly in getting this power and finally got you say he's nothing without it?
naruto is an idiot,no one can deny that,yet he's still young he has a lot of stuff to learn,he has the power,he has the respect of all of the villages not only his own village,he's still not mature enough,but that can be solved after some time.

So wrong, Naruto has proven himself to be strong enough, brave enough, loving and caring enough and actually smart enough. While I'm not sure he will make it to the position of Hokage (might be a cruel/tragic/brilliant twist ending) but there can be no doubt that among he and his peers there is no one better qualified. He's a hero through and through and over the course of the manga he has displayed the purest heart and most unwavering spirit. He will deserve it, after saving the freakin' world! NARUTO FTW

I can't believe you actually forgot Kurama actually stated that Naruto is very strong on chapter 499 pg. 9-10 title "the new seal."

kurama is a part of naruto's power hate it or love it,you can't take it from him.now that aside if you think a hokage rules by himself then you're dumber than i thought,even hiruzen didn't take decisions on his own accord,heck even the advisor's words are even more influencing than his own,the hokage is a mere public face to display power,look at the raikage he's more impulsive than naruto,he even went suicidal against sasuke even knowing he will be burned to death by amaterasu if he attacked his amaterasu covered susanoo,he is not that smart but he is still raikage.
i agree that naruto won't be hokage after the war,kakashi is more of a choice,he even was selected to replace tsunade when she was in coma,but he can make a great hokage in the future with the help of his friends

You're completely disregarding all the important qualities that allowed him to acquire such strength. Everyone is always impressed at his strength of character more than anything else. His unwillingness to ever give up in service of the ones he loves. That's what will make a great hokage. The point of the whole manga is that love will win over evil and bitterness and greed! All the kages have come to realise the errors of their ways, and how they have been the cause of the previous wars. Hatred and fear have fuelled all the strife and suffering in the world. So what if he isn't politically minded and cunning?
Naruto represents hope and love and that's what will make him the greatest kage, and in a new world that isn't run on fear. Others respect him for that, not out of fearing his great power. I know you must think you're sooo edgy criticising the main character, but you have no argument. From the beginning Naruto has not failed in maintaining his sincerity and belief. The hints and clues everywhere in this manga stating Naruto MIGHT become one. He's a prank, a brat and anything but good in the beginning. But look at his mentor, his friends, his stats and his recent development. Hokage is truly one postion that has a very significant meaning for his development. He clearly stated from time to time, the reason he wanna become one is because of the recognition that once he sought after since childhood. U saying that as for example if Sasuke realize all of his revenge idea is some BS and he can justified it with some other way? Think wise my friend. Naruto path is Hokage's path, the leadership, the intellect will soon came along slowly. The leader is somewhat not being born with, but with hard training and virtue. Like what Naruto character consistently shows us.
