Kooji pulls away "Kallen....this is not your fault...its...its....."

"Don't say it..... You're wrong... It's not your fault. I told you it was bound to happen anyway. The only difference is...." her voice trails off.

Kooji: is what....

"If I had waited until my powers could no longer sustain themselves...I would've died...." Kallen looks away.

Kooji puts his hand on her cheek and pulls her back and kisses her "You say that as if that was ever an option..."

Kallen kisses him back. "It was an option but one I refused to accept. Either way it could've happened..."

Kooji: Im glad youre alive, Kallen....you know, its kindd of ironic that with all this power I have I cant even use it to save the one I love

Kallen lays her forehead on his. "I'm alive now though. That counts for something."

Kooji smiles and stares into her eyes "No sharingan this time"

Garrett: This is it! It works! *gleeful as he proposes the solution to Kooji and Kallen's problem to his team, they look at him and listen intently*

Assistant #1: Garrett-sensei, amazing...

Assistant #2: But, sensei... we've analyzed the data. If you do this... what will happen?

*the Assistants start mumbling amongst themselves, hopeful but worried*

Garrett: ... remember this, students. A medical ninja must always be willing to sacrifice anything for his or her fellow shinobi, especially if they're your friends.

*the assistants are silent*

Garrett: Come, let's get ready for tomorrow. Let's set up the equipment. I'm going to head down to the Tavern personally tomorrow!

*they begin working again*

Kooji stands up and stretches "ahh thats good....Kallen, remember when I first came in here?

"Yes. During that time I thought you just some goofy drunkard."

Kooji: And I'm not a goofy drunkard?

"You still are." ^-^ Kallen laughs. "I just only thought of you as a friend then."

Kooji wraps his arms around her "Would you have me any other way? Just say the word and ill change *over dramatic* Just say the word and ill change myself!!!

Kallen puts her arms around Kooji and giggles. "I like you just the way you are. I'd never force you to change."

Kooji: Thats good news!! I think youre the only person who actually LIKES putting up with me
