It's been suggested before many times, I think. I don't know, but I would like it if they did. Don't really see the point of it though since you can just go on the Internet.

But the staff rejected the suggestion.

Why do you need an app? Just have a mobile version of the site so we don't have yet another app harvesting your info.

Well it does cost money to place an app in the Market for download and not to mention time it would take to program the app in two different languages;
Apple being C++
Android in Java
no simple conversion either, so they would have to spend money so people could download it
Itunes being like $100+ a year and Google is something like $25 a year might be more now, plus all the legal aspects of it for them to upload the manga and anime they would have to obtain the legal rights as well.
I think it would be really cool but just popping open the browser is good enough.
