Some people left the base, but this place hasn't changed a bit. Now that the manga is over and the databook is out, a lot of arguments and theories (like tobidara) ended. It's a great time to be a NB member

Yeah Im with that suggestion - keep the forum and its format but change the name to animebase etc (anime is more popular / familiar to people as compared to manga) - Id much prefer a generic manga/anime forum that is as active as this place to this place tbh (I long ago stopped caring much about Naruto), problem is that the general anime/manga forums out there aren't very active barring myanimelist which has one of the worst forum formats a forum can have (hence why I tend to avoid that place).

On the day of #700's release the bottom thread in Today's topics was 11 hours. This thread is the new bottom thread at 22 hours

Reasons are simple: part 3, the last movie, the new updates and new databook + the anime so only manga has ended. Everything else is still ongoing and kishimoto will produce new movies over the years untill we get to the current timeline in the manga before ending it. He's gonna do it basically untill he gets tired of doing it so people will leave when everything is truly over.
